I was quite ill all day from GI upset, and on the brink of throwing up in my mask. I generally have a strong gut, so in this season of aerosolized virus minding the chronic vents in a surgical mask (a paucity of respirators go to the higher ups) I am surprised that my intestines are roiling.
Fortunately, I did not get sick. I was never to duck out of work or school for vomiting. Purge, replete fluids, and avoid the causes. Eat yogurt.

Thank you, for reminding me. Exercise 91.
I have to stay at a higher spiritual level, to prevent myself from being entangled in other things.
"Certain sages go so far as to include repentance among the entities created before the world itself. The implication of this remarkable statement is that repentance is a universal, primordial phenomenon; in such a context it has two meanings. One is that it is embedded in the root structure of the world; the other, that before man was created, he was given the possibility of changing the course of his life. In this latter sense repentance is the highest expression of man's capacity to choose freely—it is a manifestation of the divine in man. Man can extricate himself from the binding web of life, from the chain of causality that otherwise compels him to follow a path of no return.
The Hebrew word for repentance, Teshuvah, has three different though related meanings. First, it denotes 'return,' a going back to God or to the Jewish faith. Second, it can mean 'turning about' or 'turning to,; adopting another orientation or direction in life. Third, Teshuvah signifies 'response.'

To use a metaphor from the world of botany: a change of climate, soil, or other physical conditions can induce marked alternations in the form and the functioning of a plant, and even the adoption of characteristics of other species and genera, but the unique paradigm of the prototype persists (126-7)."

Today, at the mixed operation farm (cattle, chicken, swine) I saw this: a free-choice supplement for cattle from Icelandic kelp for iodine.
https://www.midwesternbioag.com/baileysbit-salt/
The cattle were South Poll, which is a New World breed four-way crossed between Red Angus, Senepol, Hereford and Barzona. This breed is exclusively grass-fed with good heat and parasite tolerance. Senepol cattle are originally from Senegal, and imported to the Caribbean. Barzona descend from Caspian steppe to Iberian peninsula aurochs.
It was interesting to watch the steer protectively stand between us and the cows and calves. The steer are castrated to diminish the tang of testosterone in the end product.
Puddling in a well run-off I saw a Camberwell Beauty (Nymphalis antiopa):
https://observation.org/species/659/
The chickens were Rhode Island Red. The swine were pastured Berkshire. The organic appellation and longstanding relationships with restaurants and buyers ensured top prices and filled orders every time.
I do not have a farmer's mentality, yet the animals were well-treated at this place. The operators liked their animals and avoided talking about their pickup times.
