She has a bad habit of digging in the houseplants and then collapsing on the bed.

Yes, you were exactly right.

I sink a little river with my shoes.
Awakened from a sound with roots that
The pitch is almost blue.

Afundo um pouco o rio com meus sapatos.
Desperto um som de raízes com isso
A altura do som é quase azul.

Erté was a large part in my development, and I thought of this when you mentioned dilettantism.

I am the first to admit that sleeping with pets is not the prescription for the best sleep of one's life. Two people in the bed with pets is downright crowded.

The problem is that I am gone during the day, and they want to stay with me at night.

This cat is still extant at the Stephenson house. Lulu was her introductory name, but she somehow became Bebe from Southpark.

My brother brought her home. We said that he would name his firstborn Bebe.

Another card: Tet(9). Lancer après confirmation / crank on confirmation.

The letter tet can be good and bad. T'umah is spiritual impurity, taharah is spiritual purity, and crank on confirmation is a business term for restating the terms after a deal is made, usually to the benefit of the client. The evil inclination entangles the soul with benign acts that are revealed in devastating outcomes.

Not eating chametz on Pesach is about uprooting that spurring appetite that leads to sin. For eight days, at least. I made and served chametz last night, and I indulged thoughtlessly, and the thought did not occur to me until afterward. That morning, I thought, I hate bananas, I could go my whole life without eating another cloying banana, and then I made a dessert with bananas last night.
