Spring 2008 for Armani featured the album Tuareg by Agricantus
Do you (too) ever find it necessary to force oneself into productive(?) distractions in order to pass time,
to forget what (or who) is on your mind ?
Yes, I very often crowd my mind with various forms of aesthetic experience. Pining is an abject profession. If I am not in the mental state to create, I will at least prime it for later...that is my thinking.
Ha...I was reading (more mental junk food) from Julia and Derek Parker's Astrology 2001 for the Suggested Leisure Activities: Sun Sign Sagittarius with Scorpio Ascendant:
Physical: Long distance swimming or running
Intellectual: War games, fast cars, literary research
Creative: Rug making (!), detective fiction, metalwork
Should I invest in an acetylene torch? Should I go back to my former line combing through sentences? I won't be picking up Dungeons & Dragons anytime soon. Smirk.
former life*
Maybe if rug making can be extended to any pointillistic concept...really a contradiction of terms, so I like it.
Crafts have this bad wrap of being a degraded form of practical art. While I agree that purchasing die-cut paper pieces and gluing them into the factory configuration that is scrapbooking requires little creativity, I like the surprising difficulty of workable art. I took a couple pottery classes, and I was frustrated by the fact that the memory for vessel-making took a long time to be stored in the hands. Anything else that requires more than the free-form that I usually do is as much a mental exercise as it is an expression of the individual.
Crafts were originally anything hand-worked versus something fabricated by machines...so I will take this connotation.
When you hate someone as much, you won't let them share the past, either.

Saturn in Scorpio
This placement indicates that deep and intense psychological change may be very difficult for you to withstand. You may try to ignore it or to repress the energies that come from deep inside you. You must try very hard to understand what is motivating you and to accept it, whatever it is. In fact, you must work very hard to accept all aspects of your character no matter how strange they seem.
Also, you may be reluctant to express your true feelings, because you prefer to keep an outward appearance of calm and control. But this is not always good for you, because everyone needs to release their feelings from time to time, especially while you are young. On the plus side, when you are under intense pressure, you can show your emotions and still be more in control of them than most people. That can be very helpful when the going gets rough.
Mars in the Third House 3rd hs
Mars was found in your third house at the moment of birth. Your mind is humane and somewhat emotional, possessing strength and energy. You do not act on the basis of faith alone but prefer to assume a pragmatic attitude. The liability is to become easily aroused and violent, and to hurl words charged with poisonous insinuation and insults. You should be cautious in what you say. Your mind is very much colored by personal feelings. You must attempt to exert some control over your mental passions in order to fully conquer the irrational bodily urges. Thus you can make the emotions service your intellect. Yours are warlike and self-centered, inclined to make you intervene in the world of political or public duties. You are too easily aroused and perhaps too attached to passionate thoughts.
Interpretation by Robert Pelletier
Mars Square Saturn
With Mars square Saturn you alternate between periods of aggression and periods of recession and apathy. You are constantly at war with yourself because you cannot resolve this problem, which is not an easy one. But do not despair, time will improve your capacity to correctly judge when you should take action.
You will have to be very careful not to become disillusioned by your occasional setbacks. If you can learn from them, you are ahead because of the experience. Potentially you can accomplish much, once you know your limits. You can excel in occupations requiring endurance and follow-through.
You do not always know just how much you can assert yourself in your associations. You especially need to develop your opinion of yourself by learning to use your talents so skillfully that you do not need to feel threatened by anyone else. You must develop self- confidence about meeting challenge and competitors.
Your romantic relationships are tangled with inconsistencies of temperament and emotional intent. You may sometimes hurt the one you love without realizing it.
Interpretation by Robert Pelletier
The word conjunction has the naughty sanctity that I am sure The Passion of St. Matthew had to Lispector, who must have particularly enjoyed banalizing it in a suitcase tag.
Yes, I seemed to have ascribed to self-deprecating fatalism here, yet by retrieving bits of the past, I am transforming them for you. Fatalism is only bad when the outlook is worse; when it is a good prospect, there is the go-ahead, for the undefined among us. I read somewhere that being an unwanted birth confers an underdeveloped root chakra, and its constitutive right to exist. In any case, I do not want the same associations.
I do not want to hide things, and I want to let you in, at the same time that it makes me feel
deeply insecure. This is why I respond to your intensity that pushes me because I do not want have anything left in the wake. In the crucible of creation, everything is burned away for something new.
If I was slower responding to you, it was not because I was not receptive. When the day to day frustrations inevitably come up, I want to feel that nobody has penetrated all of my layers like you. It is humbling, and inspires sustained effort.
That is also the reason I want to undertake a very difficult journey with you; not to yoke you, but to demonstrate that I am at last committing to something I found frightening, for being so normative, for quite a long time. If you worry about my flight from you, if it is too much, then you should be assured by the lack of psychological resources I had in the past in leaving anyone; it took four years to become a blank slate again.
Age 28/29 First Saturn Return: January 2014-October 2014; so after such

Yes, there is the sense of bring liberated from the past, and yet it is very painful realizing that my mother constructed a life for me with two very destructive people, her husband and son, and their crises have taken away from my development. I can look at my half-brother. Rather than playing a blame game, the realization of these things accompanied the thought of you into my life, as inevitably as maturity, and my mother senses her support eroding. I will only be able to thrive when I can get away from her. It is not for scorning your support system or your peers, but I do not have those in my latest evolution to match, that I avoid them.
Infamously, and I think of the most recent riots and sad reflections of The Iron Lady (2011), of a person with Saturn conjunct the ascendant in Scorpio, who made quite a few overestimations due to the memory of early frustrations weighing so firmly on her conscience. She also gave her entire life to Dennis. While not recognizing a one-to-one correspondence with any of these constructs, I know that it will take quite a few years to live confidently, and embrace others as they come, which was early and unconscious for you.

Topical things: Amelia Earhart wore Grenfell gabardine while at work. Wilfred Grenfell's workwear ascended Everest. Bernard Pyne Grenfell, a relation? excavated the varied and teasing in its fragmented meaning papayri dump, Oxyrhynchus, which has been one of my favorite places, for some time.
