My middle name is Christine, and besides the 22-faced "Christine" (1980_ of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Christine of Pisan, and my maternal grandmother, I do not hear it often; meaning that it is not a charismatic assignation. I often think how my life would be like, as Christine.

When I saw that Old Navy outtake about eating lead paint, I remembered a show, which I did not see then, but it was quite funny, if self-deprecating.

Wanda Sykes is funnier than JLD.

Alas, this film happens when I was a senior in high school applying to college. I immediately thought of this album (2006) of mostly covers by Keren Ann and Bardi Johannsson. "Walk Real Slow" is the highlight, and I remember burning it on many mixed CDs. Christine, again.
